Our research characterizes the epidemiological, molecular, and immunological interactions between filarial and malaria co-infections in endemic populations. By integrating parasite genotyping, and immune response profiling, the project will clarify how co-infection modulates clinical outcomes, diagnostic performance, and vaccine effectiveness. The findings will inform evidence based interventions for populations facing overlapping parasitic burdens.
